Make your
vacation complete with a visit to Nevis attractions
There's a lot
more to Nevis than sun and surf. Nevis attractions offer a myriad
of things to see and do, whether you're looking to fill an hour or
a day. With choices as varied as museums, cruises, and historical
sites, you'll never have a dull moment during your visit to Nevis.
Of course, our beautiful beaches remain the reason people visit year
after year. So let us show you some of our favorite places to play.

in Charlestown. This historic site, a prototype of the original
house built in the 1680, highlights the life of the American statesman.
Bath Hotel

Visit this fanfare of 17th century living. Aristocrats frequented
this former spa hotel, currently the site of the Nevis police station.
Botanical Garden of Nevis
Enjoy
the wonderful fragrances wafting around this themed botanical garden
of wild herbs, tropical fruit trees, and native plants. Nevis
lush Botanical Garden, stretched across seven acres, is open from
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday.

Trample through the remains of this historic fort - the island's
primary defense during the colonial times.
Hamilton
Trail
Advanced
mountaineers can venture a laborious climb through the island's
lush rain forest, while following this winding trail up to Nevis
Peak. Once you reach the apex, you'll discover that the view
of neighboring islands makes this a worthwhile trip.
Horatio
Nelson Museum
Study
the life of the late great Admiral Horatio Nelson at this island
showpiece. The museum, full of mementoes and artifacts honoring
Nelson's life achievements, is open from 8 a.m. to 4 pm., Monday
to Friday, and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
Memorial
Square
Take a sunset stroll through this scenic park; the centerpiece of
a commercial area near Charlestown's waterfront. A reserved
spot of the square honors World War I and II veterans.
Museum of
Nevis History
Blast
back to the past in this stone townhouse set in the remote parts
of Charlestown. The historic museum is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.,

Saddle Hill
A flamboyant fortress, Saddle Hill Battery, rests on this hilltop
- Horatio Nelson's popular lookout spot during war times. You
can enjoy panoramic views of neighboring St. Kitts and other lee
side islands from this mound, approximately 1, 250 feet high.
The Cotton Ginnery Complex
Centuries ago, farmers would sell their cotton here. Today, this
complex is one of Charlestown's popular shopping depots. The
small shopping center still dons the island's traditional,
colonial architecture. You'll enjoy roaming through the goods
here, and snagging some unique souvenirs.
